This first issue of "Studies in the Fantastic" features a varied collection of scholarly articles on subjects including the psychical case study, Henrich Marschner's "Der Vampyr", Robert Aickman's "Niemandswasser", cosmopolitanism in the work of Le Fanu and Stoker, the weird verse of Victor Daley, and the correspondence of Robert E. Howard and H. P. Lovecraft. There is also original fiction and poetry, as well as vintage articles and poems.
